Johannesburg International Airport
Johannesburg International Airport, the OR Tambo International Airport (JNB) of today is a modern complex with some 60 different airlines and a total of six terminals.It is the busiest airport in the whole of Africa and lies roughly 22 km / 14 miles east of central Johannesburg and next to Alberton, Brakpan, Germiston and Kempton Park.

From OR International, you can take a domestic flight to another South African city or, if you’re staying in Johannesburg – the airport is 24 kilometres from the city centre – it’s a quick drive by hotel shuttle, hired car or taxi to your destination.

There is more than enough parking at the Johannesburg International Airport: the multi-storey parking lot has more than 5 000 bays.

Cape Town International Airport
Cape Town International is located 22 kilometres from the city centre and is South Africa’s second-largest airport, there are a range of transport options to get you into the city – from shuttle services, taxis and of course car hire. Cape Town International Airport expects air traffic to more than double in the run up and duration of the 2010 World Cup.

Cape Town International Airport won the Skytrax Best Airport in Africa award in 2005, and being named the World Travel Awards’ leading airport in Africa from 2001 through to 2004, only to be overtaken by Johannesburg International in 2005.

Durban International Airport
Durban International Airport is the third busiest airport in South Africa, especially during the holiday season when local and visiting tourists come to relax on the golden beaches of the Dolphin Coast, or to visit some of KwaZulu-Natal’s game parks.

Durban International is located 16 kilometres from Durban city centre, and handles over 2.5 million passengers every year.

Playing host to a number of international airlines, including South African Airways, British Airways, Singapore Airlines, Air Mauritius and Air Zimbabwe. There are also many daily domestic flights to most South African airports.
