Cathay Pacific passengers can check-in and select their seats from 48 hours up to 90 minutes before departure. Boarding passes can be picked up from the online check-in counter or via the CXpress check-in kiosk.

Carry-on: In all classes, Cathay Pacific passengers (except infants) are allowed one carry-on bag up to 22 x 14 x 9 in. Weight limits vary by class of service, in economy the maximum weight is 15lbs.
Checked: For travelers to and from the U.S., Canada, and some South American countries, Cathay Pacific permits two bags no heavier than 70lbs. The baggage allowance for all other routes is 44lbs in economy class.
Excess: Charges vary by departure airport and are only available by telephoning the applicable Cathay Pacific reservations office.
Musical instruments can also be carried on the aircraft in accordance the standard carry-on baggage allowances.
