Air Canada Airlines
Air Canada is Canada’s largest international airlines having its base or headquarter in Montreal. A wholly owned subsidiary of ACE Aviation Holdings Inc, it also serves as the flag carrier of Canada. The airline is headquartered in Montreal. The airline also has hubs at Toronto Pearson International Airport and a Pacific hub at Vancouver International Airport. It has cargo service to more than 150 destinations; holiday packages to more than 90 destinations; and maintenance, ground handling and training services to other airlines. Air Canada boasted of the distinction of being the 12th largest airline in the whole world.
Through its strategic and commercial arrangements with Star Alliance members and several other airlines, Air Canada offers service to over 795 destinations, in 139 countries. It covers US, Costa Rica, Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Peru, Venezuela, Mexico Canada, Bermuda and the Caribbean, in Americas. In Europe, the airline serves destinations like France, Germany Switzerland, U.K, Italy, Spain and Ireland. It flies to China, Japan and South Korea in East Asia and the only country it flies to in South West Asia is Israel.

For the long international routes, Executive First Class and Economy Class are offered by Air Canada . Air Canada also offers vacation packages to Caribbean, Florida, Hawaii, Mexico, Las Vegas, Central and South America, and Asia. Its Maple Leaf lounges are open for Executive First Class and Executive Class passengers, apart from Super Elite, Elite, and Star Alliance Gold passengers.

Passangers are suppose to arrive two hours before the flight take off. This is for international flights.
How much luggage I could carry…?
Carry-on: two items are permitted with a maximum weight of 10kg. The standard item must not exceed dimensions of 23 x 40 x 55cm and the personal item must not exceed dimensions of 16 x 33 x 43cm. Personal items can include carry-on suitcases (wheels and handles included in the size), briefcases, laptop computers, diaper bags, camera cases, cartons or other similar items.

maximum number, weight, and linear dimensions vary by class. Economy: two items permitted, each not exceeding 23kg and 158 linear cm (length + width + depth). Executive Class and Executive First: three items, each not exceeding 32kg and 158 linear cm. The total weight of all three items is not to exceed 69kg. Air Canada Elite and Super Elite: four items, each not exceeding 32kg and 158 linear cm. The total weight of all four items is not to exceed 92 kg. Premium Economy Class, International: two items, each not exceeding 23 kg or 158 linear cm.
Excess
fees will be charged for all oversized, overweight or extra items. For oversized and overweight bags there is a charge of $75 CAD (£36) per bag for international flights.
Pre-assigned Seating
You have a facility to choose your seat in a flight ,through which you are travelling.
Child Fares
Children below or under two years ,travelling in international flights on an adult’s lap will be charged only 10 per cent of the adult fare.
In-flight Service
Air Canada provides you a special menu,which can be booked in advance .It also provides you complimentary meal service with a choice of two main meals, breakfast service, complimentary hot and cold drinks and alcohol on all international flights.
Meal and Drink Services
A variety of meals are offered on Air Canada’s intercontinental routes. For Canadian and US flights less than five hours, hot food is not offered to passengers. Cold food can be purchased in US or Canadian dollars, and coffee, tea, juice and soft drink are offered free of charge. Passengers are required to pay for alcoholic drinks. |
